Sylvia Summers Couder
Chief Executive Officer

Sylvia Summers Couder has served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Trident Board since October 2007. She also served as Trident's President from February 2008 to February 2010. Ms. Summers held several positions with Spansion, Inc. between 2003 and 2007, most recently as Executive Vice President of the Consumer Card and Industrial Division. Prior to joining Spansion, Ms. Summers served as Vice President and General Manager of the embedded business unit for Advanced Micro Devices' Memory Products business. She has also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Silvan Networks, Group Vice President and General Manager for the Public Access Management Network Services Group at Cisco Systems, Vice President and General Manager of the Multi-Platform Group at Storage Technology Corporation and in various senior-level management positions at Group Bull, Thomson CSF-RCM Division, and Matra Datasystems. She holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Feminine in France and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Christos Lagomichos
President

Christos Lagomichos joined Trident as President in February 2010. Previously, from September 2007 to February 2010, Mr. Lagomichos was Executive Vice President and General Manager of NXP Semiconductor's Home Business unit where he was responsible for leading a business unit that created system solutions and AV components for digital consumer electronics applications, including TV, set-top boxes, PC TV and security technology. From 1995 to 2006 Mr. Lagomichos held several senior engineering roles with STMicroelectronics, most recently as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Home Entertainment & Displays Group. Prior to joining StMicroelectronics, he held a variety of engineering positions with Siemens. Mr. Lagomichos has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.

Christophe Chene
Senior Vice President and General Manager, TV Business Unit

Mr. Chene joined Trident in January 2009 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and assumed the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Trident's TV Business Unit in February 2010. Previously, he was at Xilinx, serving most recently as its Vice President, Global Business Development during 2008. From 2005 to 2008, he served first as Senior Director, Marketing and Applications in the General Products Division at Xilinx, and from 2007 to 2008 as Vice President and General Manager, Micro Scale Products Division at Xilinx. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Chene served as Senior Director, Integrated Circuits Marketing at Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas. Prior to that, he was with Texas Instruments, Inc., serving as Director, Digital Control Systems Business Unit, DSP Group, from 2000 to 2002, and in a variety of marketing manager, product marketing engineer or application engineer positions at Texas Instruments from 1990 to 2000. Mr. Chene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Automatic Control Electronics and Electronic Engineering from the Institut National Des Sciences Appliquées in Toulouse, France.

Tony Francesca
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Set-top Box Business Unit

Tony Francesca joined Trident in April 2010 to lead the company's newly-created set-top box business unit. Prior to joining Trident, Mr. Francesca was the senior vice president of Consumer Products for Ipera Technology from 2009 to 2010. Before joining Ipera Technology, Mr. Francesca was chief executive officer (CEO) of Keystone Executive Management and Technology Consulting from 2008 to 2009 and was chief operating officer (COO) of HelloSoft Inc. from 2007 to 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr. Francesca was the president and CEO of BroadLogic from 2001 to 2006 and also held senior management roles at Tantivy from 2000-2001, USRobotics from 1995-1997, Quantum Corporation from 1997-2000 and AT&T from 1984-1995. Mr. Francesca holds several patents and is a recognized entrepreneur and innovator of new markets and product categories, such as DVR, DOCSIS 3.0, and wireless. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering, Honors Program, from McGill University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of South Florida.

Richard Janney
Vice President, Corporate Controller

Mr. Janney joined Trident in July 2009 and brings more than 20 years of experience providing financial leadership to high-technology companies. From June 2008 to July 2009, Mr. Janney was an independent financial consultant, and he provided consulting services to Trident from December 2008 to July 2009. Previously, from February 2007 to May 2008, he served as Vice President of Finance at Asyst Technologies, Inc., and from September 2006 to January 2007, he served as its Acting Chief Financial Officer. From August 2002 to September 2006, Mr. Janney served in a variety of positions at Jefferson Wells, most recently as Engagement Manager. Earlier in his career from 1992 to 2002, he held several senior financial positions at ZeBU, Inc., G. Gund III and Cholestech Corporation and began his career at Price Waterhouse in 1984. Mr. Janney holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Shekhar Khandekar
Vice President of Business Integration and Quality

Mr. Khandekar joined Trident as Vice President of Business Integration and Quality in February 2010 to oversee the successful integration into Trident of the digital TV and set-top box business lines acquired from NXP B.V. and to drive the creation of best practices, policies and procedures. He is also in charge of ensuring that Trident is compliant with the world's most stringent quality standards. Mr. Khandekar has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of integration, manufacturing, operations management, quality and reliability of semiconductors and systems. From 2007 to 2009, he first served as Vice President of Operations & Corporate Quality and later as Vice President of Business Integration at Ikanos Communications and from 2006 to 2007 he was Vice President of Assembly Operations for Communications Products at JDSU. Earlier in his career, from 1984 to 2006, after beginning his career at Texas Instruments, he held senior management roles at PMC Sierra, Intel, and Compaq Computer. Mr. Khandekar holds a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indore in India and an M.S. degree in Engineering from Northwestern University.

Dr. Hungwen Li
Senior Vice President of Greater China

Dr. Li joined Trident in January 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer and assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Greater China in February 2010. Prior to Trident, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Huahong International, serving from 2005 through December 2006. From 2000 to 2002, he was the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of RedSwitch, a company that provided InfiniBand switches to connect enterprise servers, storage and networking gears. He was Vice President and General Manager in Agilent from 2003 to 2005 through Agilent's acquisition of RedSwitch. Previously, he served in multiple senior positions at companies such as HAL Computer Systems/Fujitsu, IBM Research Center and RCA. Dr. Li holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

Pete J. Mangan
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mangan joined Trident in January 2008. Previously, he was at Spansion from July 2005 to January 2008 and served in various financial positions including Director of Finance. From December 2004 to May 2005, he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Compxs. From December 2002 to December 2004, he was the Director of Finance for Asyst Technologies, Inc. Previous to Asyst, Mr. Mangan held senior financial positions at Advanced Micro Devices, Form Factor, Trident Microsystems, Real Chip Communications and Genesis Microchip. He holds a B.A. degree in Business/Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Saeid Moshkelani
Executive Vice President of R&D

Mr. Moshkelani joined Trident in September 2008. Prior to Trident, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations for Dust Networks from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Moshkelani also served as Vice President, Engineering and Operations, Consumer Division from 2001-2006 for LSI Logic and Sr. Vice President, Engineering and Operations from 1998 to 2001 for C-Cube Microsystems, which was acquired by LSI Logic. From 1987-1998, Mr. Moshkelani held several engineering positions with VLSI Technology, including Director of Design Technology. Mr. Moshkelani began his career at AMI in Semi-Custom Group from 1984 to 1987. Mr. Moshkelani holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.

Mark Newton
Vice President of Operations

Mr. Newton joined Trident in February 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Newton was Home Operations Manager for NXP Semiconductors between 2005 and 2010. Previously, he served in a variety of worldwide business Operations roles within Philips Semiconductors from 1988 to 2005, including Supply Chain Manager, Quality Manager, Product & Test Engineering Manager, Supplier Manager and Manager of an assembly/test factory. He started his career working for Philips Semiconductors as a product Engineer between 1985 and 1988. Mr. Newton holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Salford, UK. He also holds a Management Studies diploma from the University of Portsmouth, UK.

Dr. J. Duane Northcutt
Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Northcutt joined Trident in March 2010 in the newly formed position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Prior to joining Trident, Dr. Northcutt was the CTO and VP System Architecture at Silicon Image from 2002 to 2010, where he was responsible for the company's corporate, product and IP strategies, as well as system architecture. From 1990 to 2001, he served as Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technologist for Sun Microsystems, where he was honored with the President's Award – once for his technical contributions to multimedia products, and again for the creation of the SunRay product. Earlier in his career, from 1986-1989, Dr. Northcutt was a member of the research faculty at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, where he led the research project responsible for developing the Alpha real-time operating system and multiprocessor testbed. Dr. Northcutt currently holds over two dozen patents and is the author of a book on the Alpha real-time operating system. He received both an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Shirley Olerich
Vice President of Human Resources

Shirley Olerich joined Trident in March 2010. Prior to this, Shirley was Vice President of Worldwide Resources, Facilities and Real Estate for Adaptec from 1996 to 2010. While at Adaptec, Shirley was a key member of the senior executive team, with extensive involvement in acquisitions and divestitures, compensation and benefits, organizational development and workforce planning. From 1995 to 1996, Shirley was Director of HR for Radius, Inc., a graphics and systems company. From 1991 to 1995, she was a Sr. HR Business Partner and Compensation Program Manager at Tandem Computers, and from 1985 to 1991, Shirley held multiple human resource roles at Atalla, a security and data encryption start-up. Shirley holds a M.A. degree in Organizational Communications from Southern Illinois University and a B.A. degree in Speech Communication from Eastern Illinois University.

Patty Riley
Vice President of Information Technology

Patty Riley joined Trident Microsystems in February 2010. Prior to Trident, Ms. Riley served as Senior Director of North America Information Technology for NXP Semiconductors from 2005 to 2008. She joined NXP in 2001 with the Philips Electronics divestiture of their Semiconductor division. During her tenure with NXP Semiconductors from 2001 to 2005 she held a variety of IT management positions where she was responsible for global information technology migrations of strategic acquisitions. Before that, Ms. Riley worked for Philips from 1979 to 2001 in a variety of IT and Sales management roles. Ms. Riley holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.

Paul Sandberg
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Mr. Sandberg joined Trident from NXP semiconductors in February 2010. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Sandberg was Senior Vice President of NXP Semiconductor's BU Home Sales and Marketing Manager. In this role, he was responsible for the worldwide sales of BU Home for TV, STB and TV FE, and was also responsible for managing the Digital TV Product Line. From 1989 to 2006, Mr. Sandberg held a variety of senior roles, including Senior Vice President of Philips Semiconductor's BU Home (which was sold to NXP in 2006), Head of Corporate Alliances, acting Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Sagem Communications (SA), which purchased Philip's BU Fax division, Senior Vice President and Business Unit Manager of Philips Internet Fax Activity and General Manager of Philips PC Peripherals. Mr. Sandberg holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Tilburg.

David L. Teichmann
Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Mr. Teichmann joined Trident in April 2007. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of GoRemote Internet Communications, Inc., serving from 1998 until its acquisition by iPass, Inc. in 2006. Previously, he served in various positions at Sybase, Inc., including Vice President, International Law as well as Director of European Legal Affairs based in The Netherlands. Earlier, Mr. Teichmann was Assistant General Counsel for Tandem Computers Corporation, handling legal matters in Asia-Pacific, Japan, Canada and Latin America. He began his legal career as an attorney with the Silicon Valley-based Fenwick & West LLP. Mr. Teichmann holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Trinity College, an M.A.L.D. degree in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and a J.D. degree from the University of Hawaii School of Law. He was also a Rotary Foundation Scholar at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where he did post-graduate work in Latin American Economics and Law.

Dirk Wieberneit
Regional Vice President of EMEA and India

Mr. Wieberneit joined Trident in May 2009 as Chief Technology Officer and assumed the role of Regional Vice President, EMEA and India in February 2010. Prior to Trident, he served in a variety of positions with Micronas GmbH starting in October 2000, most recently as Vice President R&D Consumer Division and General Manager from October 2005 to May 2009. From 1991-2000, Mr. Wieberneit held several engineering positions with Infineon Technologies and Siemens AG Semiconductor Group. Mr. Wieberneit holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronic Design and Telecommunications from the University of Bochum in Germany.
